Russian Grain Union cuts harvest outlook to 118 mln tns in 2021

MOSCOW, Sep 6 (PRIME) -- The Russian Grain Union has cut the 2021 harvest outlook to 118 million tonnes from 127.5 million tonnes and the wheat crop to 75 million tonnes from 80 million tonnes, head of the union Arkady Zlochevsky said on Monday.

"The weather in Russia at large is not as favorable as  was expected in spring," Zlochevsky said.

According to Zlochevsky, out of 19 million hectares, only 17.5 million yielded harvest.
